Rose Nolan Apron
Rose Nolan has exhibited widely nationally and internationally since the 1980s. Utilising the language of abstraction, Nolan typically uses a reduced palette of red and white, and simple inexpensive, utilitarian materials to create banners, posters, paintings and large-scale installations. Her practice references early Modernism, Russian Constructivism and 1960s Conceptual Art, infused with personal content.
To celebrate the exhibition Call of the Avant-Garde: Constructivism and Australian Art, Heide has collaborated with Spacecraft Studio and Nolan to produce this apron screen printed with the word 'HOPEFUL'.
